This month we are talking about exercise for the person who hates exercising. Dr. Sheremeta so for those that hate to exercise, how can they increase activity levels?
Walk your dog, a great one is to play with your kids. How many parents actually take the time to play with their kids for 10 minutes a day? One, itís great for the kid, because we know that they are getting activity, then we know that our children arenít getting enough activity these days. Two, itís a little bit of bonding time for you as well. You can do things like park your car further away at the grocery store and have to walk a little bit further. Tucson doesnít have too many buildings that have lots of stairs, but you can take the stairs instead of the elevator, or if you have to go to somewhere on the fifth floor, well take the elevator to the third floor.
