Welcome to Women’s Wellness Wednesday with Melissa brought to you by Northwest Medical Center.
This month we are talking about exercise for the person who hates exercising. Dr. Sheremeta what is the recommended amount of daily activity for heart health.
Well the Surgeon General has come out and actually done a recommendation for Americans and the actual quote of the recommendation is that every US adult should accumulate 30 minutes or more of moderate intensity physical activity on most, preferably all days of the week. So there is two key things in there, one is moderate intensity again you donít have to be going out hard, you can go for a walk with your friend , you can walk the dog, wash your car, you know that kind of stuff. The other important part is accumulate, you donít have to do it all at one.
