Welcome to Women's Wellness Wednesday's with Melissa, brought to you by Northwest Medical Center.
All this month were talking about heart disease and its contributing factors. Dr. Greg Koshkarian, when do I know to call 911?
911 should be called if, A) you don't have a physician you can ask a question or you’re by yourself because it's very unwise to drive yourself to the hospital if you might be having a heart attack. So if either you need to go to the hospital to get the answer to what's going on or if your physician has directed you there, you should call 911 to make sure that you have immediate medical help, because once the ems arrives they can actually do some treatment and you don't have to worry about driving.
Thank you so much! For more info call 797-8550 or visit desertcardiology.com.
