The Golden Globes nominations were announced this morning. "Les Miserables" earned multiple nominations, including Best Motion Picture - Musical or Comedy. "Argo" earned a few too including nominations for Best Motion Picture - Drama, Best Director (Ben Affleck) and Best Supporting Actor (Alan Arkin). On the TV side, "Homeland" and "Breaking Bad" will compete for Best Television Series - Drama. "Modern Family," "Girls" , "Smash," and "The Big Bang Theory"  were all nominated for Best Television Series - Musical or Comedy.

Barbara Walters’ annual TV special aired last night – where she revealed her Most Fascinating People of 2012. One Direction, Ben Affleck and Fifty Shades of Grey author E L James all made the list. But who was her top pick for the Most Fascinating person of 2012? General David Petraeus. Barbara said: “This is about military honor combining with sex and lies in the digital age,” – of course referring to his cheating scandal from earlier this year. Also on her list of the Most Fascinating Person of 2012: Prince Harry, Honey Boo Boo, Seth MacFarlane, Hilary Clinton, Governor Chris Christie and Olympic gold medalist Gabby Douglas.

Ok… So this is a pretty scary story. Justin Bieber was reportedly the target of a murder plot by a man currently in prison for two life sentences. Investigators say Dana Martin, who is described as “obsessed” with Justin, recruited a former inmate and his nephew to carry out the plan to harm Justin and his bodyguard last month. The details of the plan are really horrifying – and police say the men were supposed to be at Justin’s sold-out Madison Square Garden concert in New York City in November. Thankfully, the plot unraveled after one of the men was arrested on outstanding warrants in Vermont.

Lindsay Lohan is on the verge of losing a lot of personal items ... because she hasn't paid her storage bill and now, her unit is about to be auctioned off. She has fallen behind on paying her monthly bill and now owes about $16,000 to the storage company – and the locker can't be opened until the balance is paid in full. And we all know that won’t happen because the IRS has frozen Lindsay’s bank accounts because of unpaid back taxes. TMZ says she's reached out to family and friends to front her the money but so far no one has.
