Cheryl Burke from Dancing With the Stars might be joining another reality show – she is in talks to be ABC's newest Bachelorette. Backstage at last night’s Dancing With the Stars, Cheryl confirmed that she's met with executives from The Bachelor and Bachelorette series to discuss it. She said there hasn't been an official offer, but if they offered it to her, she would love to do it. Cheryl says she’s so married to her work that she rarely meets new people since she is around the same people all the time. So, if Bachelorette producers could make the choice for her and hand-pick guys for her to date, Cheryl thinks she has a better chance of meeting someone good.
In the fued that seems to never end - Nicki Minaj is finally talking about her fight with fellow American Idol judge Mariah Carey. Nikki says she’s too smart to make such a violent threat (like using a gun like Mariah claims), and that she was “in shock” when she heard about Mariah’s side of the story. She even said she’s happy that Mariah’s on the panel and called her one of the best singers in the world. Nikki was hoping everything would blow over, but Mariah was the one that talked to Barbara Walters about the fight. And now, Nikki is wondering if Barbara thinks that Nikki isn’t good enough for an interview to get her side.
And speaking of Barbara Walters - Lindsay Lohan was supposed to sit down for an exclusive tell-all interview with Barbara Walters for 20/20 this month, but Lindsay cancelled. Apparently, her new publicists didn’t think it was such a good idea. But now, Lindsay will be on “The Tonight Show with Jay Leno” next week! Barbara is NOT happy.
Usher has put his $3.2 million dollar Georgia mansion on the market – only problem is, his ex-wife, Tameka Raymond, still lives there. Usher had agreed to let her continue to live in the six-bedroom, seven-bathroom house following their divorce in 2009, but he just decided to put it up for sale. When Usher was granted primary custody of their 2 boys back in September, Usher also threatened Tameka that he was going to sell the house – and now, he has done it.
Oprah Winfrey has a lot on her plate: OWN TV network, a magazine publishing house, a lifestyle website and a radio channel - and now she’s expanding even more and becoming a farmer. Oprah has filed trademark applications so she can start selling an organic food and drink line. She owns a large estate on Maui – and has already chosen a few potential names The names she chose include “Oprah's Organics”, “Oprah's Farm” and “Oprah's Harvest”. But, the products will be available only in Hawaii.
