The famous Seaside Heights home that Snooki and The Situation lived in while filming THE JERSEY SHORE survived the massive storm that ravaged the East Coast this week. It just lost a few shingles. All of the windows remained intact – which is amazing. There wasn’t any broken glass. The house is behind the boardwalk t-shirt store where the cast worked while on the show - that store was crushed by the Hurricane.
Sam Lutfi’s lawsuit against Britney Spears’ parents came to a sudden stop. The judge dismissed the case yesterday after deciding that Sam’s attorney didn’t present enough evidence. Sam claimed Britney’s mother Lynne defamed him in her memoir, and that her father Jamie pushed him out of his alleged role as Britney’s manager – and costing him millions of dollars. The attorney for Britney’s family argued earlier in the day that Sam’s team didn’t meet the plantiff’s burden of proof. Now, Britney or her family won’t have to give Sam any money and could even sue him for attorneys’ fees.
Amanda Bynes apparently doesn’t seem to mind if strangers see her without clothes on. In Touch magazine is saying Amanda purchased a tan at a New York City tanning salon recently, had some trouble in the booth, and came out into the lobby wearing nothing but her goggles. A witness at the salon said Amanda looked "painfully thin" and “seemed totally out of it." Well, Amanda isn't pleased with the report – and says she is suing In Touch for printing a fake story. She says she’s not 'troubled’, she doesn’t get naked in public – and called herself a 26 year old retired multi-millionaire and people need to please respect her privacy. Amanda is currently facing a DUI, two hit-and-run charges, as well as two separate charges for driving with a suspended license.
And as we all know, George Lucas just received $4 billion when Disney decided to purchase his company Lucasfilm. And George already knows where he's going to put all that money. He says he will donate most of the money to a foundation that will focus on education. It hasn’t been said which specific foundation he has chosen, but it could be Edutopia, which is part of the George Lucas Educational Foundation, and he is currently the chairman.
And theres a new rumor that Taylor Swift was caught in a love triangle. Conor Kennedy dumped Taylor because she allegedly cheated on him with his cousin Patrick Schwarzenegger. There were problems already in their relationship – like distance and schedules, but this was the last straw. There were rumors of Taylor and Patrick before she even started dating Conor, so I’m sure it was always in the back of his mind.
