We all love Target... someone passed these "deal seeking" tips on to me today and I figured I'd pass on to you.  Re-post on your Facebook, share with your friends... spread the word!  So here are some secrets to save big bucks throughout the year:

Tip #1:  Just because something is on clearance doesn't mean that's as low as the price will go -- clearance prices can go to even 90% off.
• Here's deep dark secret:  Check if the price ends in a "4." 
•The "4" means it won't go any lower, but an "8" means it will be marked down again. 

Tip #2  Ask a Target employee when certain items get marked marked down because it varies by location, but a few savvy Target shoppers noted that most follow this schedule:

• Monday: Children's clothing, baby items, electronics, and office supplies/gift wrap/stationary.
• Tuesday: Women's clothing, home decor and domestic items

• Wednesday: Men's clothing, toys, food, health and beauty, garden items
• Thursday: Housewares, lingerie, shoes, sporting goods, luggage

• Friday: Cosmetics, jewelry, hardware, automotive, and home improvement

Tip #3 The best time to shop for toys is in July as the store receives their fall and winter stock.   
That's when toys will be marked down by as much as 70%... and if you see a Target employee 
 with a markdown gun, ask if they can mark it down even more...  Try it , it works!

So, this past weekend I was in Steamboat Springs, Colorado for the wedding of a couple friends ... for starters, we had to drive up to the top of the ski lift, up to the lodge, on the SCARIEST road I have ever driven on in my life.  We're talking one lane, dirt, can't see the edge of the road because it drops off a few thousand feet kind of deal.  I've got a pic below of the drop off... it was NUTS!

Then, driving back yesterday, I stopped along the Poudre River, right through the canyon where the had the horrific High Park Fire last month.  It's amazing... even having just burned nearly 90,000 acres, and what a beautiful scene it is to watch the river flow.  So cleansing... the air was fresh, it was incredible.  A nice reminder of nature doing its' thing.

Last night's Why Not Wednesday at Mr. An's on Oracle was AWESOME!  Packed house with a ton of people... glad to have gotten to meet some of you!  Mr An himself came out!  Below you see him and I wrestling over control of the microphone. :)  He's a star!  I'm tellin' ya what!
